Batangas State University towers among the Top Mechanical Engineering Schools based on the March 2012 Lincensure Exam because it fielded the biggest number of examinees and got the highest passing rate of 98.39%. It must be extremely hard for the only one examinee who did not pass the exam. Two BatStateU examinees also got the 7th and 8th highest ratings in the exam.


The University of Cebu also performed very well in this licensure exam. It posted the 5th highest passing rate among schools with 30 or more examinees and 5 of its examinees got the 4th, 5th, 6th, 9th and 10th highest places in exam ratings.
