  1. Hello,

My brother took the entrance exam last May 14 and he told us that the UMAT didn't cover the test for Science. Is it true? Or he's just late?

  2. Hello Leslie, your brother was given an entrance exam? for freshman admission? or for 11th grade admission? I thought UMAK will not admit freshmen this year because they will pilot the 12K program. I've read about it in many newspaper articles and on the Makati City website. Also, some of those commenting on my other blogs said they were not given the entrance exam because of the 12K program.

  9. Hi crisjay, transferees will no longer take the exam, but will be interviewed and grades should be above average. As of now, UMAK accepts only 3rd and 4th year transferees because they've been piloting the K12 program. Ask UMAK, to be sure.

  10. Hi erika, I don't know the class schedules of UMAK, but in many schools, subjects are spread out to MWF or TThS skeds, or MTh or TF or WS skeds, so you can choose your subjects based on your desired schedule.
